Patricia Foster

Patricia Foster is the wife of Dr. Todd Foster, Senior Pastor of Oak Hill Cathedral of Glory in Bassett, Virginia and as First Lady, supports her husband's ministerial vision of empowering believers to live in victory through faith in God's word. She and her husband, Pastor Todd, are proud parents of three children; Candace, Lauren, and Jordan. Pastor Patricia is employed by the state of Virginia as the Virginia Victim Witness Grant Program Coordinator. Prior to working at the state level, she worked in various positions within the Victims Services profession providing direct services to victims and witnesses of crime. Patricia has devoted over twenty-five years of service assisting in the Victims' Rights field and the last twelve years supporting the work of Todd Foster Ministries, Inc. Patricia earned a B.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University in Administration of Justice, completed numerous certifications relating to the victim assistance field and has been an ordained minister since 2007. She believes that learning is a process to promotion in any arena you encounter. The moment you stop learning is the moment you stop growing.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • WE BELIEVE IN ONE GOD - FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT, CREATOR OF ALL THINGS.

  • WE BELIEVE THAT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WAS CONCEIVED OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, BORN OF THE VIRGIN MARY, CRUCIFIED, RESURRECTED, AND ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN TO BE SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD THE FATHER AND IS TRUE GOD AND TRUE MAN.

  • WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE IN ITS ENTIRETY TO BE THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD AND THE INFALLIBLE RULE OF FAITH AND CONDUCT.

  • WE BELIEVE IN PERSONAL SALVATION OF BELIEVES THROUGH THE SHED BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST AND THE ETERNAL HAPPINESS OF THE SAVED.

  • WE BELIEVE IN DIVINE HEALING, THROUGH FAITH IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, AND THAT HEALING IS INCLUDED IN THE REDEMPTION.

  • WE BELIEVE IN WATER BAPTISM: BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT AS DISTINCT FROM THE NEW BRITH, IN SPEAKING TONGUES AS THE SPIRIT OF GOD GIVES UTTERANCE (ACTS 2:4), IN THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT AND THE EVIDENCE OF THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT.

  • WE BELIEVE THAT ALL OF THESE ARE AVAILABLE TO BELIEVERS.

  • WE BELIEVE IN EVANGELISM AND MISSIONARY WORK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHRISTIAN COMMISSION (MATTHEW 28:19)

  • WE BELIEVE IN THE CHRISTIAN'S HOPE - THE SOON COMING, PERSONAL RETURN OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

    Dr. Todd Foster

    Dr. Todd Foster was called to Pastor Oak Hill Cathedral of Glory in December of 2008. Prior to this calling, he served God faithfully in various capacities in the local church. He began teaching in Sunday School and youth ministry and was being used by God outside of the church ministering and encouraging others. Dr. Foster received his education in the public school system in Henry County, Virginia. He attained an undergraduate degree from James Madison University and graduated from Virginia State University with a Master's Degree in Counseling. He then pursued and received a doctorate degree from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.

    Dr. Foster is very passionate about God's Word and usually needs no introduction. His heart and love for God and faith in God's word are demonstrated in his life. His heart is that every believer experiences Victory in every area of life through faith in God's Word by continual fellowship with God.

    Dr. Foster is married 27 years to Patricia Strong Foster and together they have three beautiful girls; Candace, Lauren, and Jordan. Pastor Foster gives God glory for all the great things that are happening in his life.
